After passing your CBT and Theory Test (not necessarily in that order - it's up to you), you need to take the practical bike tests.
Following on from the information you give us regarding your road experience etc., we will work out with you the best way forward with your training course and allocate test and training dates to suit you. This can be an intensive course, or in order to cause as little disruption to your usual life, fitted into your free time as much as possible, we offer weekend training sessions alongside the usual weekday training although tests are currently only available on weekdays. Call or email for a personal quote without obligation.
Which test you take depends on your age and what you want to ride. If you are between 19-23 you can take an A2 restricted test (below 46.6 bhp). 24 or held a restricted licence for 2 years means you can ride a motorcycle of any size once you have passed the unrestricted A category test.
If you are 17 or over you can take th A1 test (125cc only) or just want to carry a passenger on a small commuter you only need take the light bike test which give you full entitlement up to 125cc.
Take a look at the DSA guide to practical bike test click here.
For a guide to suitable test clothing click here. Your test will not go ahead and you will forfiet your test fee if you are not suitably clothed.
Module one test is the off-road handling ability test and module two is the on-road test. Both must be passed within the two year validation period of your theory test. Remember that your module 1 pass certificate is linked to your theory test certificate. If your theory test expires then you will need to re-sit both the theory test and the module one test.
If a retest is required you must leave 3 clear working days between module one tests and 10 clear working days between module two tests.
